The “oddskin series” is my latest series of unique monotype etchings.
Taking inspiration from one of my favorite artists H. Hodgkin and my passion for printmaking and painting.
It refers to private experiences and nature. These monotype works are the result of a process of layering and experimentation, expontaneous but also planned – Printing on Loewe magazine pages adds another layer of meaning and invites viewers to engage with the work on multiple levels. I’m interested in the potential dialogue between the imagery and the visuals of the magazine pages.
I favored etching and monotype combined with painting.
