oddskin IV, 42x30cm, monoprint etching on KitaKata washi paper

The Oddskin Series plays with chance and memory through monoprint etching. Each mark is a moment—raw, deliberate, imperfect. The process begins with an aquatint etching that weave together personal narratives and natural motifs, creating a tactile and intimate visual language.
“Oddskin series VI” is a variable edition of unique works printed on pages from old Loewe catalogues, layering raw marks over polished fashion spreads.
It’s a quiet rebellion: hand over machine, reuse over waste.
It’s about reuse, resistance, and rhythm: craft layered over commerce, emotion etched into surface.
Each piece asks what we leave behind, and what we can transform.
