Traveling incognito IX v.e.1 Etching on magazine paper, 15x19cm

The work presented here emerges from a broader investigation into the intersection of repetition, ritual, and emotional gestures. Drawing from traditional Portuguese religious iconography, the Traveling Incognito series began as a reflection on how sacred imagery informs our understanding of contemporary spirituality. This exploration evolved into a search for a personal vocabulary—a repertoire of gestures, signs, and daily practices—mapped through marks and patterns that act as both emotional registers and meditative traces.
